The Legacy: Life Reflections logo is made up of two parts: the icon and the logotype. These can be used together as a full logo or separately, depending on the context. The icon works well at smaller sizes or where space is limited, while the full logo is ideal for more prominent placements.
The icon draws inspiration from Shakespeare’s sentiment that “all the world’s a stage.” Founder and Broadcaster Chris Grimes believes that everyone has an interesting story to tell - and Legacy: Life Reflections creates the space and structure to share yours!
The logo should be given sufficient minimum spacing around it wherever it is placed. You can use half the size of the logo icon as a guide.
The logo should always sit on its intended background colour. For dark backgrounds, use the white text version.
Don’t change the logo by stretching, squashing or doing anything weird to it.

Roboto condensed - Medium (500) to Semi-Bold (600)
Some quotes also use this bold italic font in red for emphasis.
Alegreya - Regular (400)
This is the body font for Legacy: Life Reflections, to be used for smaller type and longer sections of text, like articles or longer paragraphs that aren’t being highlighted in some way.
These are the main colours used in the Legacy: Life Reflections brand. You can click on the hex codes to copy them to your clipboard.
Images are an important part of expressing the Legacy: Life Reflections brand and its mothership; The Good Listening To Show (TGLTS). Text should not be placed directly over images, but graphic elements - such as a roundel or sticker - may overlap background imagery like the tree graphic.
The tree graphic represents the show’s unique storytelling structure, set in 'The Clearing'. This involves the lovely storytelling exercise called '5-4-3-2-1', some alchemy, some gold, a couple of random squirrels, a cheeky bit of Shakespeare & a cake.
A simplified tree graphic is also available for busier or text-heavy designs, helping to avoid visual overwhelm.
Headshots of Chris and his guests are usually shown in roundels with a yellow outline (or white outline when on a yellow or pale ash background). Chris’s philanthropic initiative POD2Give is also represented this way.
Every series strand of The Good Listening To Show - including Legacy: Life Reflections - has its own icon, designed as a graphic element inside a yellow roundel. There are even roundels of Chris holding a series strand roundel!
Our stickers are red rectangles set at a diagonal angle with a shadow background and white text. The have a 3D appearance and, on the web, they may include a subtle bounce interaction.
Stickers are used for short messages - such as “Welcome to The Clearing,” a series strand title, or key information of no more than six words across two lines (e.g. “Live recording with audience Q&A”). Use them sparingly: no more than 1–2 per page or asset.

These ready-made assets include your podcast cover image, background on recording platforms, LinkedIn banner, and website social-share (OG) image.
The asset featuring Chris as host is the podcast cover. There are two versions: one includes the URL for promotional use (e.g. as the main image on Buzzsprout), and the other is for the website or places where website directions are already provided. There are also two promotional images encouraging people to “be next.”
Each TGLTS series strand has its own Zoom background, designed to keep all elements visible whilst surrounding the host - Chris Grimes.
For Restream recordings, two versions are provided: one for host and guest, and another for host with two guests.
An Open Graph (OG) image is what appears when your website is shared on social media.
Chris's LinkedIn banner highlights his key services.

These templates can be edited within Figma. Simply swap in the guests headshot, details and series strand sticker, then export your new asset.
This 1600px by 900px guest template can be used on websites and X (twiiter).
Square assets are used instagram posts to promote guests. Vertical versions can be used on both instagram stories and tiktok. It's important to not distort the elements of the asset, make them overlap or write excessive text - save it for the caption!
For individual podcast uploads, e.g. on Buzzsprout, an asset with the headshot and name of the guest is used. To have more details about the guests on this asset would make it very difficult to read as an icon, and it doesn't improve SEO.
There's an A3 poster template (left) and an A5 flyer template with a reverse side (right), that can be editted for your upcoming show.
